Entering the realm of psychedelic medicine unfolded gradually for me. It was an intertwining of my deep-rooted passion for healing and diverse life encounters. My journey with plants began with my studies in aromatherapy, a premonition of my future rendezvous with the entheogenic plants of the Amazon.

Sparked in my formative years, my path unfolded from an innate drive to make meaningful contributions to others' lives. Growing up amidst multicultural environments nurtured an inherent curiosity about the human experience. Celebrating human and ecological diversity has always been intrinsic to my being.

Initially, I pursued a Bachelor in Social Work, then served as a crisis counselor for women impacted by violence in the greater Toronto area (Canada). I went on to immerse myself in holistic wellness practices and later to lead yoga teacher trainings across continents. This allowed me to engage with diverse peoples and cultures. It was also my innate curiosity that pushed me to connect more profoundly with the Earth community.

This curiosity propelled me towards exploring wilderness fasting, communing with Mother Nature, and embracing entheogenic Amazonian and Andean plant medicines. Along my path, I was fortunate to be guided by both non-indigenous medicine keepers and indigenous elders, including the Sik/Sika Sauk (Blackfeet) teachings of the Medicine Wheel. This deepened my understanding of the cyclical nature inherent in our existence—a common thread among many earth-honouring cultures and wisdom traditions.

My calling led me to weave together practical wisdom, trauma-informed care, and insight rich experiences, fostering safe spaces for healing and self-inquiry. Collaborating with different centers, alongside revered medicine keepers, and aiding integration post-plant medicine ceremonies marked pivotal milestones.

Grounded in the yogic tradition, another aspect to my passion for healing practices is yoga nidra. This is a guided somatic meditation practice that works with the healing potential, like psychedelic healing, of altered states of consciousness. I believe that our future as humanity relies on reconnecting with our innermost being, which is infused by a unified life force. It is in these altered states that we discover our interconnection with all life, fostering deep healing and unity that offers a remedy to the prevalent sickness of separation that plagues our time.

In recent years, particularly in the wake of the pandemic, I’ve spent intensive periods, often in solitude, working in ceremony with various contemplative practices and master plant dietas, learning about animal communication and tending with love to some sweet cats and beach dogs while deepening my connection to Spirit and nature. Inspired by many timeless wisdom traditions including Ayurveda, I aim to offer a remedy for personal evolution while revering the planet's magnificent intelligence and beauty.

This field of interest, including plant medicine work and yogic practices, is, for me, steeped in the view that everything is alive, conscious and intelligent. It is a culmination of diverse experiences, profound teachings, and an unwavering reverence for life. It is soul work that embodies healing, guiding others, and nurturing an intimate connection to the universe. This journey is both personal and communal, a dedication to life's magnificence and evolution. I believe it’s especially needed in these difficult times.

My approach in sessions revolves around creating an integration-friendly environment that fosters healing and growth. To create a container that cultivates presence, healing and builds from the ground up, I ensure I'm centered and regulated so I may open and connect with the mutual field we're entering into together. You are then welcomed into the session with warmth and connection. Upon entering our session, I encourage us to slow down and facilitate centering and grounding into the present moment.

You are then invited to share your intentions and key highlights of your ceremonial experiences as they may provide valuable insights into your journey.

A particular times, we dive into a somatic process that draws attention to bodily sensations, enabling a deeper connection beyond the mind. By tapping into the body's intelligence, we also allow for a reconnection with the plant’s intelligence to help guide the process. This may also involve an exploration of both internal and external resources, especially if your previous experiences in medicine work were activating.

We then harvest the key insights gained during our session. This may include reflections on what you've learned and the takeaways from the experience. From there, we co-create actionable plans—I support you in developing your own daily practices that facilitate the formation of new neural pathways, enabling the embodiment of newfound insights.

By engaging in sensing, feeling, and thinking, we explore a holistic approach to integration, fostering a deeper understanding of your experience and facilitating profound personal growth. At any point during the process (whether in a single or over multiple sessions), we will also spend time learning to attune to your internal environment and utilising somatic practices to aid nervous system regulation.

If you choose to continue our work together over subsequent sessions, we dive deeper into your self-designed practices, transforming challenges into opportunities, while discovering your deepest essence as it manifests from the physical to the soulful. Together, we explore your body, energy, mind, intuition, and soul, unveiling your inner landscape. We set intentions to guide the process and help to further unravel and integrate your newfound wisdom, anchoring them in with proven methods, while nurturing new ways of being.

My aspiration is to guide you in embodying your Soul's wisdom, purpose, and unique gifts. I believe when life becomes a journey aligned with Soul (the BEing within), we grow ourselves into mature human beings and contribute to a world grounded in more harmony and compassionate presence.

Testimonials

From the moment we met, the nurturing space Simone was able to create was palpable. You could even feel it through the computer screen. Her tools and practices have helped in my personal and professional life, helped me trust my intuition, and be more grounded in my spiritual and mental growth.

-

Stephanie Davis, USA

The sessions with Simone provided me a platform to honour and acknowledge the inner voices speaking to me and; the good, the bad and the noise, and the practices which I could deploy to deal with them. She has helped me to navigate my work and life experiences from a deeper inner connection; to look beyond the ego and judgement. She has also helped me to recognise that constant self-criticism, exacerbating some painful experiences. I have been able to practice responding instead of reacting through techniques and advice from Simone.

Over the past decade I’ve been on quite a journey with Simone, from my first yoga teacher training to my first plant medicine experience. The breakthroughs under her guidance have been transformational; a return to physical health as well as renewed life purpose and forward movement. I’ve grown in ways and directions I could not have imagined. Simone is a sensitive soul guide with unparalleled integrity; a compassionate space holder for the kind of work I believe can change humanity for the better. If you are a discerning facilitator or practitioner of personal and spiritual development words alone cannot express her grace and skill in the groundbreaking field of somatic plant medicine integration. The value of Simone’s offerings can only be fully appreciated by experience.
