About this event

Even if we know how good it is for us and our integration journey, sitting in meditation regularly can be hard. But it’s easier when you’ve got others to practice with! That’s why we’re hosting weekly group meditation sessions. Every Friday for just 15 minutes. Each session is gently guided and designed to offer you a welcoming space to begin and end your week in a good way.

Meditation offers an accessible practice that can help bring more presence, peace, and clarity to your everyday life.

And when you sit with others to share the experience, you will benefit from their practice as well as yours. With a group, it’s like meditating with and for the others in the circle.

Join us, bring a friend, and cultivate some meaning and contentment together.

What you will learn

  • Develop your meditation practice with a group of supportive people.
  • End your week with calm, rest, and clarity.
  • Open up your breathing.
  • Deepen your awareness and presence.
  • Increase your capacity to take life on.
  • Nourish your nervous system.

How to prepare

Ceremony. Approaching the experience as a tiny little ceremony can help you dive deeper into the experience.

Intention. What are you releasing in your life? What are you calling in?

Comfort. Make sure you are in a comfortable spot and grab some water before joining.

Louis is our community builder at Nectara. He discovered the healing potential of psychedelics at a young age, leading him to graduate from McGill University with majors in Psychology, Philosophy and Religion. Guided by his belief that psychedelic experience is a human right with important biological functions, he seeks to democratize safe and effective healing and growth with psychedelics through further graduate studies and research in addition to building accessible, holistic and reciprocal community, education and support services. Louis is devoted to weaving modern and ancestral knowledge so psychedelics can properly lay foundations for a much needed multigenerational process of healing, social transformation, and ecological regeneration.

Louis is the founder of Psygaia, and teaches yoga and meditation at a rehabilitation center in BC, Canada.
