About this event
Come sit, relax, and breathe. A lovely way to integrate the lessons from your week with a short silent meditation. We come together to meditate and support each other. Group meditation is a wonderful way to strengthen our own individual practice but also breathe together in connection. Whatever your level of experience, all are welcome here.
What you will learn
- Develop your meditation practice with a group of supportive people.
- End your week with calm, rest, and clarity.
- Open up your breathing.
- Deepen your awareness and presence.
- Increase your capacity to take life on.
- Nourish your nervous system.
How to prepare
Ceremony. Approaching the experience as a tiny little ceremony can help you dive deeper into the experience.
Intention. What are you releasing in your life? What are you calling in?
Comfort. Make sure you are in a comfortable spot and grab some water before joining.
Elaine is co-founder at Nectara and lives in beautiful Kaslo, BC. She was born and raised in Malaysia and her Chinese Malaysian roots are close to her heart. She is a loving mother to her son Noah and is passionate about creating spaces for psychedelic wellness guides to come do their work. She is a student of the plants and their medicinal ways. Currently, she is on the path of learning how to support people nearing their end-of-life and believes that embracing the impermenance of life is an important aspect of living fully.
Elaine started meditating as a young girl and it has since been an important part of her psychedelic integration and preparation process. In high school, she founded a Buddhist society to explore and share the teachings of the Dharma. In her professional life she has been a User Experience Designer for socially conscious companies. To help her with her breathing and journey, she has been studying the Bansuri flute for the last 2 years with her teacher, Deepankar Ganguly.
A simple but keystone element to developing my meditation practice.
